As some one who is actively attempting to keep a much less complicated VR-4 alive.
I feel you had to have a 3000gt Vr-4 I would at least do your self a favor and get a 96-99 so it will have OBD2.

Bringing that back to reliable daily-duty status is gold Jalop card territory. Every gear head should do that at least once. And build a daily up to the point that it’s no longer practical to daily. Platinum card if they’re the same car and you keep it street legal.
